Dillisk has a  savoury, umami ( brothy or meaty taste ) and salty taste, it’s sort of like bacon when it is cooked.  Chop it up and add it to Salads, Soups, Pizza, Pasta, Baked Potatoes, Rice, Stews, Lasagne, Stir Frys , Sandwiches, Smoothies or use it as a snack to eat in between meals. Dillisk is commonly eaten straight from the bag as a salty flavoured snack. It is actually low in sodium & high in manganese which gives it it’s salty flavour.
